Creatine is an amino acid that is contained in meat and fish. It is made in our bodies in the kidneys and the liver. Then it is changed in our muscles to creatine phosphate to give them more energy.
When you engage in rigorous exercises, the creatine in our muscles will begin to reduce. When creatine is taken as a supplement the supply the the muscles is increased and there is none lost.
