Taking a Nutritional Supplement is Crucial to Our Health

If you aren’t convinced that you need to take a nutritional supplement every day, you will be at the end of this article. Here are the main reasons to take a supplement.

The first reason to take a supplement is because of how our food is produced. Our food is not the same as it was two generations ago. There are different methods of farming, pesticides and other chemicals are used, produce is harvested prematurely, and food is being stored longer. Because of these things, the nutrients in our foods have decreased.

There have been studies that show there is only a small amount of nutrients in our produce and other foods. Nutrients like enzymes and phytonutrients, are wiped out way before you get your food.

The next reason for taking a supplement is because of the diets we keep. There is too much saturated fat in our diet and not enough of vitamins, antioxidants, glyconutrients, and so on.

The final reason for taking supplements is because of the stress that is caused by our environments. There are way too many toxins from our environment. The toxins from the air we breathe and anything else can dramatically affect our health. Taking a supplement can help to fight the toxins that are seeping into our bodies.

Right now the American Medical Association says that we should all supplement our diets. Because there are such poor nutrients in the food we eat and the overall health of our society is poor; they strongly urge Americans to take a supplement.
