Do you Really Need a Bodybuilding Supplement?
March 4th, 2008 . by adminMost bodybuilding supplements are not regulated by the FDA because they are classified as a dietary supplement.
This means there is no assurance that the supplement you use is a pure supplement or it is safe. Manufacturers can say anything they want on a package. They can state benefits that have never been tested or proven.
There are questions about the supplements and if they really need to be taken to get the results wanted. There are a lot of people who over-train and spend too much time working out. When they don’t see the muscle they want they look to supplements for more muscle. What they can do or should do is have intense training sessions but do them not as often and for shorter amounts of time. This way, a bodybuilder can give themselves time to recover and allow their muscles to grow.
If you are one of the people who have changed your routine and diet, but don’t see any progress, you are probably thinking about a supplement. Don’t forget that supplements can have side effects. You should also know each ingredient and what their purpose is. You may want to talk to a doctor or nutritionist to see what supplements can work better or will be safe.
