Amino Acids; Arginine

March 2nd, 2007 . by admin

An important amino acid for human is Arginine. We cannot make it on our own, so we must get it from external things like chocolate, raisins, seeds, and nuts.

Arginine is used in physiological processes that help to secrete hormones, remove toxins, and improve our immune system. It also helps blood vessels in the body because it is a predecessor of nitric oxide. Arginine can be used to improve higher blood pressures, cardiac diseases, and infertility. It may also be helpful in extracting bad cholesterol, balancing salt levels, and improving fat metabolism.

Many bodybuilders are consumed with taking Arginine. It is because of these reasons:

-It helps to minimize bloating by preventing water from being retained. It will then make muscles more defined.

-It is very useful helping nitrogen stay in the body and that helps build muscles faster.

-Arginines assist in growing muscles.

-They improve the synthesis of protein.

-Arginines will assist people who train for long hours by preventing many of the minor pains and illnesses.

If there is an overdose of amino acids, it can bring about weakness and make someone nauseous. If you want to take any supplements at larger doses you should increase the dose in small amounts over time. If you are currently using a protein powder, you should look at the label in case there is already Arginine in the mixture.
